FX.co ★ Excelerate Signs 15-year Deal With QatarEnergy To Buy Up To 1 Mln Tons Of LNG/year

Excelerate Energy Inc., a liquefied natural gas (LNG) company, and QatarEnergy disclosed the conclusion of a 15-year LNG Sales and Purchase contract on Monday. As per the agreement, Excelerate commits to procuring up to 1 million tons annually of LNG from QatarEnergy. This arrangement is to be executed on a delivered ex-ship basis in Bangladesh, effective from January 2026, for a span of 15 years. Excelerate stipulates the purchase of 0.85 million tons per year of LNG in 2026 and 2027, and 1.0 million tons annually from 2028 to 2040.
