Chrysler has unveiled its latest innovation, the Chrysler Halcyon Concept, that takes a leap into the brand's fully electric future. The company is set to launch its pioneer battery-electic vehicle in 2025, with plans to transition its entire portfolio to electric by 2028. The Chrysler Halcyon Concept, built on the STLA Large platform, showcases what future exteriors of the Chrysler brand might look like - streamlined and aerodynamic.
The concept also brings forward the use of Dynamic Wireless Power Transfer technology. This innovative technology enables vehicles to recharge wirelessly while travelling in specific lanes, promising unlimited range and flexibility of travel.
In earlier years, Chrysler revealed a series of concept designs such as the Chrysler Portal Concept in 2017, the Chrysler Airflow Concept in 2022, and the Chrysler Synthesis Cockpit Demonstrator in 2023. The unveiling of the Chrysler Halcyon Concept fortifies Chrysler's commitment to the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 plan, an initiative aimed at fostering the development of more efficient, electrified propulsion systems.
