As of 7.45 am ET, the Dow futures increased by 32.00 points, the S&P 500 futures gained 9.25 points, and the Nasdaq 100 futures rose by 56.75 points.
Major U.S. averages ended in the red on Monday, with the Dow closing down by 62.30 points or 0.16 percent at 39,069.23. The S&P 500 suffered a 19.27 point decline or 0.38 percent, settling at 5,069.53. Despite the day's volatile trading, the Nasdaq ended down by 20.57 points or 0.13 percent at 15,976.25.
Looking at the economic landscape, the Durable Goods Orders for January report will be available at 8.30 am ET. The forecast suggests a 4.5 percent decrease, experiencing no change in the previous month.
The Case-Shiller Home Price Index for December is expected to be released at 9.00 am ET, with an anticipated increase of 0.2 percent, up from November's 0.1 percent.
At 9.00 am ET, the FHFA House Price Index for December will be disclosed, with expectations of a 0.1 percent increase, up from November's 0.3 percent.
Consumer Confidence for February will be announced at 10.00 am ET, with a forecasted increase to 115.0, a slight incline from the previous month's 114.8.
The auction of the seven-year Treasury Note is slated for 1:00 pm ET.
The Money Supply report for January is expected at 1.00 pm ET, with the M2 Level previously standing at $20.86 trillion in the preceding month.
In Asia, markets ended Tuesday on mixed notes. Chinese shares witnessed a surge with the benchmark Shanghai Composite index growing 1.29 percent to 3,015.48, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng index leaped 0.94 percent to 16,790.80.
Japanese markets presented a flat picture with the Nikkei average narrowly rising to 39,239.52, while the broader Topix index saw a minor increase of 0.18 percent to 2,678.46.
Australian stocks remained relatively stable with the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 recording a minor growth of 0.13 percent to 7,663.
