On Wednesday, Australia is set to announce its Q4 gross domestic product figures, signalling a mild day for economic activity in the Asia-Pacific region.
It's predicted that the GDP will see a quarterly rise of 0.3 percent and an annual increase of 1.5 percent, following the addition of 0.2 percent quarterly and 2.1 percent annually in the prior three months.
Furthermore, January's retail sales figures and February construction and manufacturing indices from the Australian Industry Group are also slated for release in Australia. It's projected that sales will experience a monthly increase of 1.1 percent, recovering from a 2.7 percent dip in December. The construction index previously logged a score of -11.5 in January, with the manufacturing index at -23.8.
Meanwhile, South Korea is preparing to disclose its consumer price data for February. Forecasts suggest a monthly increase of 0.4 percent and a yearly rise of 2.9 percent, following a similar pattern to January's increases of 0.4 percent monthly and 2.8 percent annually.
