Figures from the Czech Statistical Office have indicated a continued decline in the country's industrial producer prices for the second consecutive month in February, albeit at a lower rate than anticipated. According to these figures, the industrial producer price index dropped by 0.9 percent on an annual basis in February, which is less of a decrease than the 1.8 percent fall observed in the preceding month. Experts had forecasted a decline of 1.2 percent.

If we exclude the influence of energy prices, the industrial producer prices saw a steady decline rate of 1.7 percent.
Taking a month-on-month view, there was an increase of 0.5 percent in producer prices in February, outpacing the expected increment of 0.3 percent.
