The unemployment rate in Poland held steady in February, after seeing an increase in the two months prior, according to data released by the nation's statistical office on Monday. The rate was reported to be 5.4 percent, identical to that of the previous month.
In comparison, the unemployment rate in the same month of the previous year was slightly higher at 5.6 percent. Furthermore, there has been a slight rise in the number of people registered as unemployed; from 837,100 in January to 845,300 in February.
Notably, the count of unemployed individuals below the age of 24 also saw an uptick, going up to 110,900 in February from 109,500 in the month before.
