Diebold Nixdorf has announced the appointment of Thomas Timko as the company's executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective from May 17, 2024. He will be replacing the current CFO, Jim Barna, who will support Timko during the transition period and subsequently take on the role of executive vice president for Transformation.
Timko is an experienced executive, having served as the global chief accounting officer and controller at GE for nearly six years. Before his tenure at GE, Timko also worked at General Motors for over five years in the same roles of chief accounting officer and controller.
Earlier in his career, Timko also filled various leadership roles. These include the role of vice president and chief accounting officer at Applied Materials, and the role of chief accounting officer and controller at Delphi Corporation.
