In terms of Earnings per Share (EPS), it stood at $1.47 in Q1, which is a significant improvement from last year's -$3.83. Upon excluding specific items, MSA Safety Inc. revealed adjusted profits of $63 million, which translates to $1.61 per share for the given period.
