**Lenovo Group Ltd. Reports Strong Q4 Performance**
Lenovo Group Ltd. (LNVGY.PK), the prominent Chinese PC and mobile manufacturer, announced on Thursday a remarkable increase in its fourth-quarter net income, which more than doubled to $248 million from the previous year's $114 million.
Earnings per share experienced a significant surge, rising to 2.02 US cents from 0.95 US cents in the same quarter last year.
The company reported that profit attributable to equity holders, on a non-HKFRS basis, was $218 million, down from $284 million a year earlier.
Group revenue saw an impressive rise, increasing nearly 10% year-on-year to $13.8 billion, with all business segments contributing to the growth.
The Board of Directors has declared a final dividend of 3.8 US cents or 30.0 HK cents per share for the fiscal year 2024.
Looking forward, Lenovo expressed optimism about the upcoming year, highlighting its leadership in artificial intelligence (AI), its continuous investment in innovation, and its aim to capitalize on the unprecedented opportunities offered by hybrid AI.
