Acer Inc. (ACID.L) reported a 16.8 percent increase in revenues for May compared to the previous year.
For May, the revenues amounted to NT$21.13 billion, while the year-to-date consolidated revenues rose by 15.9 percent, reaching NT$97.81 billion.
Revenue from the personal computers business saw a 26 percent year-over-year growth in May.
The leading ICT company highlighted that revenues for Altos Computing Inc., its subsidiary specializing in AI servers and workstations, surged by 256.4 percent year-over-year in May. Acer ITS Inc. recorded a 58.5 percent increase, and Acerpure Inc. experienced a 22 percent rise in revenues over the same period.
During the recent Computex Taipei held in early June, Acer's display of its AI product range, which includes PCs, servers, and AI-assisted solutions for medical applications and smart cities, received positive feedback.
