Sphere Entertainment Co. (SPHR), a key player in the live entertainment and media industry, announced on Wednesday the expansion of Jennifer Koester's role within the company. Formerly the President of Sphere Business Operations, Koester will now serve as the President and Chief Operating Officer.
In her enhanced capacity, Koester will collaborate with executive leadership and the broader Sphere team to drive business growth and streamline operations. Additionally, she will oversee Sphere Studios, focusing on developing its capabilities as a comprehensive production studio.
Koester, a seasoned executive with three decades of diverse experience across technology, media, and entertainment sectors, joined Sphere Entertainment in February 2024 from Google. At Google, she held the position of Managing Director, Americas Strategic Alliances, Global Partnerships, and earlier served as Director of Telecommunications and Video Distributors, Global Partnerships. Her career also includes tenure as Senior Vice President of Advanced Advertising Product Development, Data Analytics, and Ad Operations at Cablevision, along with various legal roles.
