TriplePoint Venture Growth BDC Corp. (TPVG) has announced that Christopher Mathieu plans to retire from his position as Chief Financial Officer, effective at the close of business on August 9, 2024. To ensure a smooth transition, he will continue to serve as an advisor until December 31, 2024.
Mathieu has been with TriplePoint since July 2019. The company has already begun the search for his successor and has engaged a leading executive search firm to assist in this process.
Before joining TriplePoint, Mathieu was a Special Advisor at iCapital Network, Inc., a financial technology platform. From 2016 to 2018, he held multiple roles including CFO, Treasurer, and Secretary for a public-reporting business development company and a closed-end interval fund, as well as Managing Director of the alternative asset management firm that sponsored these entities.
Earlier in his career, Mathieu was the Senior Vice President, CFO, and Treasurer of a publicly traded business development company in the venture lending industry and its predecessor funds, serving in these capacities for over a decade.
