Denmark's producer prices continued their downward trend in May, according to data released by Statistics Denmark on Monday.
The producer price index decreased by 1.0 percent year-over-year in May, following a 0.9 percent decline in April. This marks a continuous fall in prices since May of the previous year.
The annual price index for energy supply plummeted by 17.5 percent in May, whereas prices for raw material extraction and industry combined showed a slight increase of 0.7 percent.
Domestic market prices were 4.2 percent lower compared to the same period last year, while foreign market prices saw a rise of 1.3 percent.
Month-over-month, overall producer prices fell by 0.5 percent in May, counteracting the 0.8 percent increase observed in April.
