Poland Inflation Unrevised At 2.6%

Poland's consumer price inflation saw a slight uptick to a four-month high in June, as initially estimated, according to the latest data from Statistics Poland released on Monday.

The consumer price index rose by 2.6 percent year-over-year in June, a modest acceleration from the 2.5 percent increase recorded in May, consistent with the preliminary data published on June 28.

Food and non-alcoholic beverage prices increased by 2.5 percent annually in June, while housing and utility costs went up by 1.7 percent. Conversely, clothing and footwear prices saw a decline of 0.9 percent.

On a monthly basis, consumer prices remained stable, rising by 0.1 percent, as estimated.
