Recently, Apple (AAPL) unveiled the iOS 18 public beta, offering users and developers an early glimpse of the new updates set to launch with the forthcoming iPhones.
The latest iOS update brings support for RCS messaging along with enhanced customization options, allowing users to personalize their home screens. Additionally, it showcases a revamped layout for the Photos app and a redesigned Control Center.
In conjunction with iOS 18, Apple has also released public betas for iPadOS 18, macOS Sequoia, watchOS 11, and tvOS 18.
The iPadOS 18 update includes a long-awaited native Calculator app, alongside the features introduced in iOS 18. macOS Sequoia users, on the other hand, can now mirror their iPhones on the Mac screen.
watchOS 11 introduces several new features, including rest days and an upgraded Vitals app from Apple. tvOS 18 brings the Insight feature to Apple TV Plus.
To download the iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 updates, users who have previously enrolled in the beta testing program can navigate to the Settings app, select the Software Update option in General, and then choose the "iOS 18 Public Beta" option.
Looking ahead, the Cupertino-based company plans to roll out Apple Intelligence later this year, which will feature a ChatGPT integration and enhancements to Siri.
