Autohome Inc. (ATHM) reported a rise in second-quarter earnings on Wednesday, driven by revenue growth compared to the same period last year.
The earnings attributable to Autohome for the quarter were RMB 524.8 million (approximately $72.2 million), an increase from RMB 504.7 million in the prior year. Earnings per share were RMB 1.05, up from RMB 1.00 a year ago. On an adjusted basis, earnings stood at RMB 572.4 million ($78.8 million).
The company's revenues for the quarter amounted to RMB 1.872 billion ($257.7 million), a slight decrease from RMB 1.833 billion in the previous year.
