On a per-share basis, the loss was $0.06, improving from $0.28 per share in the previous year’s second quarter. After adjusting for certain items, Altair Engineering Inc. achieved adjusted earnings of $14.82 million, or $0.16 per share for the quarter, which slightly surpassed analysts' projections of $0.15 per share.
Revenue for the second quarter stood at $148.80 million, up from $141.16 million in the same period last year.
