Accenture plc (ACN) announced on Friday that it has acquired Boslan, a management services provider based in Bilbao. This move aims to revolutionize how clients design and implement net-zero infrastructure projects by harnessing AI and digital technologies for asset lifecycle management.
The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Through this acquisition, Accenture has bolstered its workforce by integrating over 1,000 engineering and project management professionals, predominantly located in Spain and Brazil.
Boslan marks Accenture's inaugural acquisition in the capital projects sector within Europe, enhancing its capacity to support clients in executing capital projects more efficiently, particularly within the European market.
Boslan specializes in overseeing the construction of infrastructure essential for the transition to net zero, including wind farms, smart grids, electric vehicle charging stations, solar power plants, and hydrogen facilities.
