ChipMOS Technologies Inc. (IMOS), a prominent Taiwanese semiconductor service provider, announced its financial outcomes for the second quarter on Tuesday. The company reported a net profit attributable to equity holders of NT$450.6 million, equivalent to $13.9 million, a notable decrease from the NT$628.5 million, or $19.4 million, achieved during the same period last year.
Net earnings per basic share stood at NT$0.62, or $0.02, down from NT$0.86, or $0.03 per share, recorded in the previous year. Additionally, net earnings per basic American Depositary Share (ADS) were $0.38, compared to $0.53 per ADS in the second quarter of 2023.
The company’s revenue reached NT$5.81 billion, or $179.0 million, marking a 6.7 percent increase from NT$5.44 billion, or $167.8 million, posted a year prior. On a sequential basis, revenue experienced growth of 7.2 percent.
