Airbus has revealed that airBaltic has placed an incremental order for an additional 10 A220-300 aircraft. With this fourth reorder, the airline's total firm order will reach 90 A220 aircraft, solidifying its position as the largest A220 customer in Europe.
The A220 is an advanced airliner designed for carrying between 120 to 150 passengers, capable of covering flights up to 3,600 nautical miles. As of the end of July, Airbus reported having secured over 900 orders from approximately 30 customers for the A220, with around 350 aircraft already delivered.
