Freshpet, Inc. (FRPT) announced on Tuesday the appointment of Nicki Baty as Chief Operating Officer, effective September 1, 2024. Baty will succeed Scott Morris and will report directly to CEO Billy Cyr.
In her new role, Baty will have responsibilities aligned with the position of COO. However, her commercial duties will be restricted to the Mass, Grocery, and Club channels until May 10, 2025.
Scott Morris will continue in his role as President and Co-Founder. He will collaborate closely with Baty and the commercial team to strengthen the company's future business and growth strategies.
Baty brings a wealth of experience in scaling businesses. She spent nearly two decades at Colgate-Palmolive, most recently serving as President and General Manager of Hill's Pet Nutrition U.S. from 2020 to 2024.
Her previous roles include Senior Vice President of Global Sales & General Manager of Latin America and Asia for Hill's Pet Nutrition, General Manager of the Nordic Region, General Manager of the Netherlands, and European Customer Development Director. From 2000 to 2005, she held various positions at Unilever in the UK.
