Neste has revised its 2024 guidance for Renewable Products downward. The updated forecast now anticipates that the total sales volume of Renewable Products will grow compared to 2023, reaching approximately 3.9 million tons, with a margin of ±5%. Within this, the sales volume for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is expected to range between 0.35-0.55 million tons. Additionally, the average comparable sales margin for Renewable Products in 2024 is now projected to be between USD 360-480 per ton. Previously, the guidance suggested a total sales volume of approximately 4.4 million tons, with a margin of ±10% for 2024.
Neste noted that sales prices for Renewable Products have been adversely impacted by a significant decline in diesel prices during the third quarter. As a result, Neste plans to optimize the utilization of its production capacity for Renewable Products in response to changing market conditions.
