Lantronix Inc. (LTRX), a company specializing in compute and connectivity solutions for the Internet of Things (IoT), announced on Monday that Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jeremy Whitaker has resigned to assume a CFO position at a private firm. Whitaker's departure was effective September 13, 2024.
In the interim, Brent Stringham, currently serving as the company's Controller, has been appointed as the Interim CFO while a search for a permanent successor is underway.
Stringham, who has been with Lantronix since 2012, is a seasoned financial executive with a wealth of institutional knowledge and financial expertise. Prior to his tenure at Lantronix, he held key financial leadership roles at Iteris Inc., Netlist Inc., and Ernst & Young.
To support the transition, David McLennan, the former CFO of Sierra Wireless Inc., who retired in 2020, will be providing consulting and advisory services. McLennan brings a distinguished track record of fostering growth, facilitating international expansion, and ensuring financial stability in leading technology companies.
