Dominion Energy Virginia has unveiled the Residential Charger Program, a new comprehensive solution for customers aiming to install a Level 2 home charging system for their electric vehicles (EVs).
This initiative mitigates initial expenses by enabling participants to spread the cost of charging equipment and installation across their monthly bills. Additionally, it simplifies the installation process by providing turnkey services from certified and licensed electricians.
"This program effectively removes a major hurdle to EV ownership by streamlining the purchase and installation of home chargers," noted Nathan Frost, General Manager of New Business & Customer Solutions at Dominion Energy. "We are thrilled to empower our customers to lower both their fuel costs and emissions simultaneously."
