Patterson Companies, Inc. (PDCO), a prominent supplier of dental and animal health products, announced on Thursday the signing of two separate acquisition agreements for its animal health divisions in the UK and the US. The financial specifics of these transactions remain undisclosed.
In the United Kingdom, Patterson's National Veterinary Services Ltd. is set to acquire Infusion Concepts Ltd. Commenting on this acquisition, George Henriques, President of Patterson Companion Animal, stated, “We are excited to integrate the entire Infusion Concepts product line into our portfolio. Their expertise in designing infusion pumps specifically for animal use, paired with their high-quality standards, complements our mission seamlessly.”
Meanwhile, in the United States, Patterson's production animal business, Animal Health International, Inc., will acquire the majority of the operating assets of Mountain Vet Supply, a regional distributor based in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Following these transactions, Patterson Animal Health is poised to enhance its footprint in both the production and companion animal markets, improve operational efficiency, and foster synergies with strategic vendors.
Patterson anticipates finalizing these acquisitions by the second fiscal quarter of 2025.
