Accenture plc (ACN), a leading professional services company, announced its financial results for the fourth quarter on Thursday and provided its earnings and revenue outlook for the full fiscal year 2025.
For the upcoming first quarter, Accenture forecasts revenues between $16.85 billion and $17.45 billion. This represents a local currency growth of 2% to 6%, incorporating an anticipated positive foreign-exchange impact of approximately 1.5% compared to the first quarter of fiscal 2024.
Analysts surveyed by Thomson Reuters predict Accenture will report revenues of $16.94 billion for the quarter.
Looking ahead to fiscal 2025, Accenture expects earnings to fall within the range of $12.55 to $12.91 per share, bolstered by revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency, again considering a positive foreign-exchange impact of 1.5%.
Market analysts are projecting earnings of $12.85 per share on revenue growth of 5.9%, totaling $68.72 billion for fiscal 2025.
In addition, Accenture plans to return at least $8.3 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases over the fiscal year.
The company has also increased its quarterly cash dividend by 15% to $1.48 per share, payable on October 10, 2024, to shareholders of record as of November 15, 2024.
Furthermore, the Board of Directors has authorized an additional $4.0 billion for share repurchases, increasing the total repurchase authority to approximately $6.7 billion.
