Signet Jewelers (SIG) has announced the planned retirement of Virginia Gina Drosos as Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors, effective November 4, 2024. The Board has appointed Symancyk as her successor for the CEO position, who will also become a Board member. Symancyk most recently served as CEO of PetSmart, Inc. for six years.
Additionally, the company revealed expanded responsibilities for Joan Hilson, currently the Chief Financial, Strategy, and Services Officer. In her new role as Chief Financial and Operating Officer, Hilson will manage the supply chain and oversee Blue Nile and James Allen. This is in addition to her existing duties managing Rocksbox, finance, strategy, real estate, and the Services business.
