RTX Corp. (RTX) announced on Tuesday that its subsidiary, Raytheon, has been awarded a $192 million contract by the U.S. Navy. The contract entails the development of the Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band Expansion, an enhancement to the existing Next Generation Jammer Mid-Band system.
This upgrade aims to extend the frequency range to counter additional threats, thereby improving operational efficacy.
At present, RTX's stock is trading at $12.65 on the New York Stock Exchange, reflecting a 2.01 percent increase.
