Saudia, Saudi Arabia's national flag carrier, has formalized a codeshare agreement with Delta Air Lines, furthering their existing interline partnership to provide Saudia passengers with expanded destination options between North America and the Arabian Peninsula.
The two airlines have applied for the necessary codesharing authorities and will commence selling codeshare itineraries post the requisite governmental approvals.
This collaboration is set to enhance connectivity between the United States and the Middle East. Through this agreement, Saudia passengers will gain access to 12 additional destinations in the U.S. via Delta's hubs at JFK and LAX airports. Meanwhile, Delta's customers will be able to travel to 9 more destinations in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East beyond Jeddah and Riyadh.
Both Saudia and Delta are affiliates of the SkyTeam alliance, ensuring that frequent flyers can continue to earn and redeem miles across both airlines. SkyTeam Elite Plus members will further enjoy the privileges of SkyPriority services.
