CVS Pharmacy, a division of CVS Health Corp. (CVS), has announced an extension of its partnership with Food Allergy Research & Education (FARE), a prominent non-profit dedicated to food allergy advocacy and education. This collaboration centers on the Teal Pumpkin Project, an initiative that provides a range of non-food treats for Halloween.
This partnership is in response to findings from a FARE survey indicating that over 65 percent of children with food allergies have experienced negative Halloween encounters due to their condition.
As part of this initiative, CVS Pharmacy will stock more than 60 non-food items, such as trick-or-treat buckets, light-up bracelets, glow sticks, pumpkin flashlights, and an assortment of new bulk items like prefilled mini-teal pumpkins.
In the financial markets, CVS's stock is currently trading at $62.74, reflecting a 0.83 percent increase on the New York Stock Exchange.
