Thomson Reuters (TRI, TRI.TO) has announced the sale of its FindLaw division to Internet Brands, a prominent player in the realm of digital platforms, particularly in the Health and Legal sectors. Internet Brands is known for its comprehensive integration of online media and software services.
For the past two decades, FindLaw has built a reputation as a top-tier resource for legal information and a vital marketing tool for law firms.
The transaction is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2024, subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals.
