OSI Systems (OSIS) revealed that its Security division has officially launched operations in Uruguay. The collaboration with the Ministry of Economics and Finance aims to bolster security and efficiency at the nation's ports and borders using cutting-edge customs screening technology.
The company detailed the deployment of their EAGLE T60 high-energy, trailer-mounted vehicle inspection systems. These systems perform security screenings and enable remote image analysis through the CertScan integration platform. Additionally, OSI Systems will provide continuous management training, as well as maintenance, service, and support.
Deepak Chopra, CEO of OSI Systems, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, "We are excited to begin the operational phase."
