Cloudflare has announced its acquisition of Kivera, a platform specializing in cloud security, data protection, and compliance. With this acquisition, Cloudflare plans to integrate Kivera's technology into its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform, enhancing its capabilities in providing comprehensive, preventive cloud security solutions within a single cohesive system. The merger of Kivera with the Cloudflare One platform aims to introduce preventive controls directly into the cloud deployment process, positioning them inline to mitigate security issues and risks proactively.
