Honeywell and Qualcomm Technologies have announced an enhancement of their partnership to create innovative, artificial intelligence-driven solutions for the energy sector. Honeywell is set to integrate Qualcomm Technologies' connectivity and AI capabilities into its current suite of AI-powered applications.
"The synergy between Qualcomm Technologies' on-device AI processors and Honeywell's AI-enabled solutions will empower field workers to operate more efficiently, optimize asset performance, and enhance overall process industry productivity," stated Pramesh Maheshwari, President of Honeywell Process Solutions.
Earlier this year, the two companies embarked on the development of an AI-driven Multi-Modal Intelligent Agent, aimed at enabling workers in distribution centers and retail environments to interact intuitively with handheld devices using voice, imagery, and video communication.
