PAVmed Subsidiary Veris Health Granted $1.8 Mln NIH Funding To Enhance Cancer Care

PAVmed Inc. (PAVM), a medical technology firm, along with its majority-owned digital health subsidiary, Veris Health Inc., have proudly announced that Veris has secured a significant grant of $1.8 million from the National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities (NIMHD), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

This two-year funding initiative is intended to support research efforts aimed at optimizing and validating the Veris Cancer Care Platform, specifically tailored to meet the needs of cancer patients from medically underserved communities. This endeavor is undertaken in collaboration with an academic cancer center.

Entitled "Bridging the Gap: Enhancing Cancer Care for Underserved Populations with the Veris Health Cancer Care Platform," the research project will concentrate on addressing challenges faced by patients who encounter language barriers, have limited access to technology, or experience socioeconomic disparities.
