FX.co ★ DoJ Requests Information From Saab North America Regarding Brazil's Acquisition Of Gripen Fighters

Saab North America, Inc., the American branch of Saab, has been issued a subpoena by the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ). The DoJ is seeking information regarding Brazil's procurement of 36 Gripen E/F fighter jets for its air force, a deal finalized in 2014. The selection process, known as the FX-2 program, spanned from 2008 to 2014, with Saab ultimately securing the contract. Saab is committed to fulfilling the DoJ's request for information and cooperating with their inquiry. Previously, both Brazilian and Swedish authorities investigated certain aspects of this procurement process. These investigations were concluded without uncovering any misconduct by Saab.
