Radiation therapy firm Accuray, Inc. (ARAY) has announced the return of Suzanne Winter to her role as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, following a temporary medical leave. Winter took a break in early September to undergo treatment for a manageable form of cancer.
During Winter's absence, Sandeep Chalke stepped in as interim CEO and will now continue in his original role as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer.
With over three decades of experience in the healthcare med tech industry, Winter initially joined Accuray in October 2019 as Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer. Her career also includes a notable tenure as Group Vice President at Medtronic Diabetes.
