Vonage, a subsidiary of Ericsson, has announced the appointment of Anthony Bartolo as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately. In his new position, Bartolo will report directly to Niklas Heuveldop, the CEO of Vonage and Head of the Business Area Global Communications Platform at Ericsson.
Bartolo's responsibilities will include overseeing corporate strategy and technology initiatives, with a strong emphasis on enhancing operational efficiency to bolster Vonage's market presence. His efforts will support the company's leadership in sectors such as Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS), and Network APIs.
Bringing over three decades of experience in scaling global enterprises and crafting innovative commercial strategies, Bartolo is well-versed in leading cross-functional teams towards remarkable growth. Before joining Vonage, he served as Chief Operating Officer at Bandwidth. His prior roles include Executive Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Avaya, and various senior executive positions at Tata Communications, notably as President of Mobility and Chief Product Officer.
