Atlassian Corporation (TEAM) has reported its earnings for the first quarter. The company posted a net loss of $123.8 million, a significant decline compared to a loss of $31.9 million in the same quarter the previous year. The earnings per share (EPS) stood at a negative $0.48, compared to a negative $0.12 in the corresponding period last year. However, when adjusted for certain items, Atlassian recorded earnings of $199.7 million, equating to $0.77 per share for the quarter. This result surpassed analysts' expectations, who had predicted an EPS of $0.64. On the revenue front, Atlassian achieved $1.187 billion in the first quarter, a rise from $977.8 million in the same timeframe last year.
Looking ahead, Atlassian's revenue guidance for the upcoming quarter is projected to be between $1.233 billion and $1.241 billion.
