Andersons, Inc. (ANDE), an agribusiness company, announced on Monday the completion of acquiring majority ownership in Skyland Grain, LLC, for an undisclosed amount.
This acquisition is anticipated to enhance Andersons' expansion of its primary grain and fertilizer operations across key markets, including Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado, and Texas.
Bill Krueger, CEO of The Andersons, stated: "The robust farmer relationships and key assets of Skyland in grain, agronomy, cotton, and fuel, along with our wide-ranging grain merchandising capability in the U.S., create a formidable partnership."
Skyland boasts over 7,000 active co-op members and more than 50 locations dedicated to grain and agronomy.
