Evotec SE has disclosed the divestiture of its chemical API manufacturing facility, Evotec DS GmbH, situated in Halle/Westphalia, to Munich-based private equity firm Monacum Partners GmbH. The financial particulars of the deal remain undisclosed.
According to the agreement, Monacum Partners will assume full control over all operations and staff at Evotec DS, which will now operate under the name DAPIN GmbH (Deutsche API & Intermediates).
Located in Halle/Westphalia, Evotec DS is a specialized Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization known for its expertise in chemical APIs, intermediates, and building blocks. It offers a comprehensive service range, from development to commercial-scale production.
