The Bank of Japan reported on Tuesday that the M2 money supply saw a year-on-year increase of 1.2% in October, reaching 1,249.8 trillion yen. This figure fell short of the anticipated 1.5% rise and remained consistent with the revised September value, which was adjusted downwards from an initial 1.3%. Meanwhile, the M3 money supply maintained its year-on-year growth rate of 0.7% for the second consecutive month. Additionally, the L money stock continued its trend, increasing by 3.2% year-on-year for the third consecutive month.
