AAR Corp. (AIR), a prominent provider of aftermarket solutions in the aerospace and defense sectors, announced on Thursday the signing of an exclusive, multi-year distribution agreement with Whippany Actuation Systems, a subsidiary of TransDigm Group, Inc. (TDG).
This agreement grants AAR the global distribution rights for Whippany's complete line of components and sub-assemblies in their actuation product range. It also broadens AAR's product offerings, notably impacting key platforms such as the Boeing 737 and 777.
Through its distribution services, AAR aims to reduce lead times, increase stocking locations, and enhance the overall customer service experience for users of Whippany products.
