Mediaocean, a leader in omnichannel advertising platforms, announced on Thursday a definitive agreement to acquire Innovid, a software provider specializing in connected TV (CTV) solutions. The transaction is valued at approximately $500 million, with Innovid's common stock priced at $3.15 per share.
Under this agreement, Innovid will merge with Flashtalking, forming a premier global, independent omnichannel ad tech platform. The acquisition is slated for completion in early 2025.
This newly combined entity will offer a comprehensive suite of services, enhancing capabilities in ad delivery, creative personalization, and measurement optimization across diverse channels such as digital, social media, CTV, and linear television.
The merger of Innovid and Flashtalking aims to empower advertisers with greater data control and decision-making capability.
Zvika Netter, Founder and CEO of Innovid, will assume the role of CEO for the combined ad tech organization, reporting to Bill Wise, Co-Founder and CEO of Mediaocean. Grant Parker from Flashtalking will take on the position of President, reporting to Netter. Furthermore, Netter will join the Mediaocean board.
