European Economic News Preview: German Ifo Business Confidence Data Due

The sole major economic report scheduled for release on Monday centers on Germany's business confidence survey data, which highlights an otherwise quiet day for European economic updates.

At 2:00 am Eastern Time, Turkey will publish its figures for manufacturing sentiment and capacity utilization. Then, by 2:30 am Eastern Time, the Federal Statistical Office of Switzerland will announce third-quarter employment statistics.

Spain's National Institute of Statistics (INE) is set to release October's producer price details at 3:00 am ET. Previously, September showed a 5.2 percent year-over-year decline.

Come 4:00 am ET, the ifo Institute will unveil data from its German monthly business sentiment survey. Projections suggest a dip in the business climate index to 86.1 for November, down from 86.5 in October. Concurrently, Poland's information on industrial production and producer prices is expected. Analysts predict an increase in industrial production by 1.8 percent year-over-year in October, reversing a 0.3 percent decline seen in September. Meanwhile, producer prices are projected to decrease by 5.5 percent annually, following a 6.3 percent reduction previously.
