European Economic News Preview: German Consumer Confidence Data Due

On Wednesday, the release of consumer confidence surveys from Germany and France will take center stage, marking a relatively quiet day for European economic updates.

France's national statistics institute, INSEE, is set to unveil the consumer sentiment survey results at 2:45 am Eastern Time (ET).

Spain's statistics office, INE, will publish its retail sales figures for October at 3:00 am ET. It's worth noting that sales experienced a 4.1 percent increase in September.

At 4:00 am ET, Poland's unemployment data is expected to be released.

Finally, at 4:30 am ET, the market research organization GfK will issue Germany's consumer confidence survey details. The anticipated prediction for the forward-looking consumer sentiment index is a decline to -18.8 in December, compared to -18.3 in November.
