Switzerland experienced a slight rise in unemployment in November, following stability in the previous month, according to the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The unemployment rate, not adjusted for seasonal variations, edged up to 2.6% in November, compared to 2.5% in October. In contrast, the jobless rate during the same month last year was 2.1%. The number of registered unemployed individuals increased to 121,114 in November from 116,114 the month before. Meanwhile, the unemployment rate for young people aged 15-24 remained steady at 2.6%. Seasonally adjusted figures also showed an unemployment rate holding at 2.6%, consistent with October's data.
