NaaS Technology Inc. (NAAS), a Chinese company specializing in electric vehicle charging services, announced on Thursday that it has entered into a partnership with the State Grid Corporation of China's Hebei Electric Vehicle Charging Service Company. This strategic alliance aims to integrate over 2,800 of State Grid Hebei's public chargers into the extensive network maintained by NaaS' Kuaidian service.
Through this collaboration, NaaS anticipates enhancing the charging experience for more than 1 million electric vehicle owners located in significant urban centers. The Kuaidian app offers crucial information, including charger locations, availability, payment methods, and navigational assistance, making it a comprehensive tool for EV users.
This partnership is expected to bolster NaaS Technology's market presence by leveraging the financial growth and scalability of the NaaS Energy Fintech (NEF) system, especially as the number of electric vehicles continues to rise annually.
As of now, NAAS shares are trading at $2.68 on Nasdaq, representing a 2.19% decrease.
