Crane Company (CR) announced the immediate promotion of Alejandro Alcala to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Alejandro, known as Alex, began his career with Crane in 2013, initially serving as the President of Crane Pumps & Systems. In 2014, he advanced to the role of President of Crane ChemPharma & Energy. By March 2020, he had climbed to the position of Senior Vice President, where he managed Crane's Process Flow Technologies segment along with the Regional Presidents for China, India, and the Middle East & Africa. In February 2023, Alex took on the role of Executive Vice President, gaining segment leadership responsibility across all of Crane's business divisions.
Prior to his tenure with Crane, Alex built a noteworthy career at Eaton Corporation, where he took on operations and strategic marketing roles with escalating responsibilities.
