This increase surpassed the anticipated rise of 3.4% and followed an upwardly revised gain of 3.6% in October, initially reported as 3.4%. On a month-to-month basis, producer prices experienced a 0.3% increase, consistent with October's adjusted figure, which was revised upwards from an initial 0.2%, and surpassed expectations of a 0.2% rise. Additionally, the data showed that export prices climbed by 0.2% monthly and 0.7% annually. In contrast, import prices saw a decline, falling 0.5% month-over-month and 2.8% year-over-year.
